Leasing Assistant - $15/hour Express Employment Professionals is hiring an outgoing Leasing Consultant for a local company in the Athens, TN area. Leasing Assistant Responsibilities Maintain thorough knowledge of the property and its competitors. Provide detailed phone presentation to prospective residents with the purpose of prescreening for qualifications and setting up appointments for leasing. Enter information into the property management software. Effectively lease available apartment homes and work to achieve leasing goals. Communicate conditions or other concerns which might impact the community. Keep accurate and detailed records on all accounts and files. Complete thorough verification findings for each prospect, screen and qualify all prospects through our approved criteria. Thoroughly maintain appearance of the leasing office, vacant apartments, and overall curb appeal of community to ensure that it is inviting to prospective residents and tenants. Provide excellent customer service to visitors, current residents, and prospective residents. Prepare and execute leases/paperwork for propects and residents. Prepare and be thoroughly knowledgeable of all leases related paperwork, from applications to move out. This includes, but not limited to, processing applications, action letters, welcome letters, lease paperwork, lease files, renewal letters, renewal leases, move – out inspection forms, and violation notices. Handle resident questions, maintenance request, and any other daily request. Comply with Federal and Local Fair Housing regulations. Resident Relations Develop and maintain first class customer service relationships with prospects by serving individuals through quick and courteous responses, as well as treating others in a respectful manner at all times. Manage and resolve resident concerns. Monitor work orders to ensure that there are none outstanding and consistently communicate with maintenance until the work orders are completed. Notify residents of renewal expirations in a timely manner by providing consistent reminders. Ensure all move in items are addressed and ready prior to move in. Renew all tenants in a timely manner monthly. Maintain and ensure that all residents have active renter’s insurance policies.
