Business Analyst - Jersey City

Salary: $70,000 - 90,000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
0–3 years of Business Analysis experience or relevant training
Basic understanding of requirements gathering and business process analysis
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Skills in business requirements gathering, BRD and FRD documentation, user stories and acceptance criteria, process mapping, workflow analysis, gap and impact analysis, UAT, stakeholder management, and project documentation are preferred
Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools is a plus
Work authorization listed in the posting: GC, GC-EAD, H4-EAD, or U.S. Citizen
Responsibilities: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
Conduct meetings and interviews to understand business needs and objectives
Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and user stories
Create process flows, workflows, and business documentation
Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project managers
Support Agile and Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and backlog refinement
Assist with gap analysis, impact analysis, and process improvement initiatives
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate solutions against business requirements
Track project progress, identify issues, and communicate updates to stakeholders
Maintain clear and accurate project documentation
