HR Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated HR Assistant to support daily human resources operations in a fast-paced manufacturing/production environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, employee interaction, and supporting HR processes such as payroll and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Assist with payroll processing, timekeeping, and data entry
• Support new hire onboarding (paperwork, orientation coordination)
• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
• Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
• Help coordinate training, scheduling, and compliance documentation
• Support HR team with reporting, filing, and administrative tasks
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of sensitive employee information

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in HR, administrative, or office support role
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Experience with payroll, timekeeping systems, or HRIS is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Preferred Background

• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial settings
• Exposure to high-volume employee environments
• Familiarity with onboarding or employee relations support
