Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid, unencumbered RN license
• Strong clinical background in Stepdown and PCU care
• Proven ability to monitor, assess, and intervene for patients requiring frequent observation
• Advanced critical thinking and strong assessment skills
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Comfortable with EMR charting and documentation
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced, high-pressure situations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients requiring advanced monitoring and interventions
• Administer prescribed medications and therapies in accordance with care plans
• Monitor vital signs, recognize early indications of complications, and implement appropriate interventions
• Work closely with physicians, specialists, and allied health staff for cohesive care delivery
• Educate patients and family members on post-acute conditions, care procedures, and recovery plans
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards
• Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient progress
