Wire Operations Specialist (6-month contract)

Overview Wire Operations Specialist (6-month contract) for a well-established California bank with over 100 years in business. This role supports domestic and international wire transfers in US dollars and foreign currencies, and is focused on maintaining operational integrity in line with bank policies and procedures. Responsibilities Process incoming and outgoing domestic and international wire transfers in US dollars and foreign currencies. Authenticate wire requests by validating the initiator and confirming transfer specifics with an authorized representative of the account. Conduct callback verification with customers; entry and callback verification are separate functions. Maintain operational integrity of funds transfers by adhering to bank policies and procedures. Qualifications Required Knowledge: Basic knowledge of wire transactions; Microsoft Office applications with intermediate Excel skills. Preferred Knowledge: PAYplus wire system; Convera (Travelex) system; AS400 system.
