Job Overview A law firm seeks a Trademark Associate (Prosecution) for its Redwood City, CA office. The successful candidate will work with a team of experienced attorneys to provide strategic legal solutions in trademark and copyright matters, including prosecution, enforcement, and litigation. Responsibilities Provide trademark counseling, clearance, and prosecution services. Review clearance searches and prepare responses to PTO office actions. Handle enforcement matters, including cease and desist letters and domain name disputes. Engage in TTAB proceedings and manage trademark use on social media platforms. Advise on copyright law issues. Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in U.S. and foreign trademark law. Active membership in the state bar with compliance in CLE requirements. Superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials. Strong analytical skills for complex legal analysis. Effective communication with diverse clients and team members. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active state bar membership. Skills Proficiency in trademark and copyright law. Strong analytical and writing skills.
