Pay $22.00 - $25.00 per Hour. The hourly rate for this position is determined by the level of the role, relevant experience, and may incorporate shift differentials, ensuring fair compensation that reflects both expertise and responsibilities entailed. Shift differential for the AM shift is $1.00 per hour What will I do in this role? Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements. Ensure correct amount and type of stock are at pressures according to schedule. Press downtime should never be caused by insufficient stock or the wrong type of stock at press. Return unused stock to warehouse. Responsible for accurate inventory management which includes computer entries and stock size changes. Deliver all non-stock items received to appropriate person or area. Ensure aisles are not block and that the stock press has a neat appearance. Must communicate with lead press operator to meet scheduling needs. Ensure that the next shift presses are stocked according to the schedule to reduce the amount of downtime. Assist during physical inventory. Responsible for using all material transporting equipment in a safe manner. Back up the material handler. May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Properly dispose of waste ink, spent solvents, and other designed waste according to hazardous waste handling guidelines. Great benefits for the entire family! Knowledge of the English language and the ability to write legibly. Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions. Ability to operate a computer. Ability to meet deadlines. May be required to work some overtime. Requires nearly constant concentration and attention to detail. Ability to stand and walk for 90% of work time; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 10% of work time. Ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less; see clearly at 20 feet or more; identify and distinguish colors; observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point; judge distances and spatial relationships; and to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus. Ability to use hands for 100% of work time; and reach above shoulder for 25% of work time.
