This full-time position allows you the flexibility of a remote work setting while being deeply involved in supporting students and families within a school environment in Macon, Georgia. Work Environment

This role offers a remote work opportunity, which allows for flexibility while still providing essential mental health services to local schools. You will frequently liaise with school administration and staff, combining face-to-face interactions with remote sessions to support students. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients, including interviews and standardized testing, to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to the specific needs of each client.
• Collaborate effectively with educators, school counselors, and external mental health professionals to develop an integrated, multidisciplinary approach to student care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate client documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates, in alignment with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision, receive feedback, and engage in professional development activities to stay up-to-date on best practices.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary and develop safety plans for students at risk of harm.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this position, you will primarily serve students from diverse backgrounds experiencing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will play a critical role in helping these young clients navigate their emotional and psychological hurdles, facilitating their academic success and overall well-being. The therapeutic approaches utilized will be informed by the individual needs of each student, ensuring culturally competent and inclusive practices.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical social work, preferably in a school or community mental health setting.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health diagnoses and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and school personnel.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems for documentation and tracking client progress.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with youth in educational settings and familiarity with the challenges faced by students in today’s educational environments.
• Background in crisis intervention and management.
• Experience with family therapy and group therapy modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 90,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications. As a full-time employee, you will be eligible for a robust benefits package that includes:
