Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for each patient according to the nursing process.
- Provide patient and family education from admission through discharge.
- Maintain thorough, accurate, and legible documentation of the nursing process.
- Notify physicians of significant observations and changes in patient status.
- Administer medications and perform treatments safely and accurately.
- Implement physician orders as received.
