Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Nights

Contract | Full-Time | Nights | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to the care of patients within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
• Educate patients and significant others regarding care, treatment plans, and health management
• Accurately document patient care activities and assessments in the medical record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to effectively coordinate overall patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active or ability to obtain Oregon RN license prior to start
• Minimum 24 months of current Intermediate/Progressive Care Unit (PCU/IMCU) experience required
• Acute care hospital experience required
• BLS certification (AHA) – must be active or willing to obtain
• ACLS certification (AHA) – must be active or willing to obtain
• Discipline-specific skills checklist required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Background in Telemetry or Stepdown unit settings
• Experience in a facility offering a broad range of medical and specialty services
