What You'll Do

The Sales Desk Manager plays a critical leadership role in driving dealership sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This position partners closely with Sales Consultants, Finance Managers, and dealership leadership to structure deals, coach the sales team, and ensure every customer receives an outstanding experience.

• Desk and structure vehicle transactions to maximize profitability while maintaining a customer-focused approach
• Partner with Sales Consultants throughout the sales process to improve closing ratios and customer satisfaction
• Review pricing, trade valuations, lender programs, and payment options
• Assist customers with vehicle selection, negotiations, and deal presentations when needed
• Increase sales volume, gross profit, and customer retention goals
• Monitor showroom traffic, appointments, lead management, and CRM performance
• Develop Sales Consultants through daily engagement and mentorship
• Conduct sales meetings focused on accountability, process improvement, and results
• Collaborate with Finance Managers to ensure smooth transactions and deliveries
• Monitor inventory levels, aging units, and merchandising strategies
• Resolve escalated customer concerns
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and developing top-performing sales talent
• Maintain accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and operational compliance

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of automotive sales leadership experience in a franchised dealership environment
• Strong experience desking deals and driving dealership profitability
• Proven ability to develop and motivate high volume sales teams
• Proven success desking deals and driving sales profitability.
• Strong understanding of finance, lender programs, and trade appraisals.

Total Rewards

We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you and your family, including:

$135,000- $200,000 per year

This is a performance driven position, eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes a base/hourly/draw offset and the ability to collect commission and bonus based on performance.

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
