Role: Business Analyst Title: AVP/VP Location: New York , NYC, US Mode of Work: 3 days/week onsite Required Experience: 10+ years We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong Banking background to join our team. The ideal candidate will primarily drive business analysis activities, facilitate Agile ceremonies as a Scrum Master , and provide project coordination and stakeholder management support . Experience in banking risk, governance, or internal audit is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to translate business needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria. Conduct impact analysis, gap analysis, and process mapping. Support solution design, UAT planning, and defect resolution. Ensure requirements align with business objectives and regulatory standards. Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Remove impediments and help the team deliver sprint commitments. Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement. Track sprint progress and communicate delivery status to stakeholders. Project Coordination Assist in project planning, status reporting, and risk tracking. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery. Support project governance and stakeholder communications. Required Skills 10+ years of Business Analysis experience. Mandatory experience in the Banking domain. Strong expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management. Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and supporting Agile teams. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite. Nice to Have Experience in Banking Risk & Governance . Background in Internal Audit or regulatory compliance. Knowledge of banking regulatory frameworks and controls.
