As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by planning, organizing, and implementing engaging activities and programs that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and overall well-being. About the Role As an Activity Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Planning and coordinating activities, such as art classes, exercise programs, and social events, to cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents Developing and implementing innovative programs to promote mental and physical stimulation, socialization, and community engagement Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address individualized needs and preferences of residents Assisting with the preparation and setup of activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment Documenting activities and resident participation to track progress and make data-driven decisions Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience working with seniors or in a community-based organization Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, and lifting (up to 25 pounds) #J-18808-Ljbffr Dubois Continuum of Care Community
