Graphic Designer & Social Media Coordinator

A Brief Overview Under the Senior Vice President of Marketing's supervision, the Graphic Designer will plan and oversee property marketing for assigned communities, designated regions, public relations programs, videos, and social media graphics targeted toward driving resident engagement, increasing occupancy, resident retention, improving HMC brand perception, and developing positive relationships among the property, residents, and military commands. What You Will Do Develops and implements resident marketing collateral to include newsletters and flyers for resident-related activities, events, and community gatherings. Works with Regional Marketing Coordinators to develop and direct monthly and annual property marketing plans in support of property occupancy and resident retention goals. Ensures effective control of marketing results and adjusts as necessary to guarantee the achievement of marketing objectives. Plans and oversees materials for promotional activities, including print, online, social media, electronic media, and direct mail. Prepares and recommends advertising and marketing strategies as deemed appropriate. Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with military partners, resident tenant groups, base services, military leadership, and key strategic partners. Develops and implements resident retention efforts and measures resident satisfaction through direct feedback. Develops and gains approval from site leaders and uploads the monthly newsletter to websites and emails it to all residents in the community. Helps to create and edit videos and reels as requested. Qualifications Associate's Degree in Marketing, Business, Property Management, or another related field. preferred Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Property Management, or another related field. preferred 1-3 years of experience performing graphic design and social media tasks. required Proficient in standard office software such as MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Email programs, and internet browsers. Additionally, experience is required with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Illustrator. Canva experience is highly desired. Strong and effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with the ability to establish strong working relationships with superiors and peers. Must be detail-oriented and able to work within specified deadlines. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Requires a detail-oriented, independent thinker who can be a part of a team and demonstrate strong attention to detail, and basic knowledge of property management activities.
