Job Summary and Qualifications

Intake of patient and procedure information from surgeons, their office staff and hospital personnel with entry of that data into the OR Module in Meditech so as to produce an effective, efficient Operating Room schedule.

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED: Medical terminology required. Experience with computer systems in a hospital environment, preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

REQUIRED: None

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Typing skills of 35 WPM required. Knowledge of computerized scheduling. Excellent communication skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities. Ability to work independently. Detail oriented.
