Civil Engineering Project Manager (PE), Water & Wastewater Utilities Halff has a position open for a Water & Wastewater Civil Engineer, with a Texas PE License, to join our Water & Wastewater Utilities team as Project Manager in our Fort Worth, TX office. The ideal candidate would bring at least 1 year of Project Management experience (or 5+ years of engineering experience) in water & wastewater pipeline and/or facility design. Responsibilities Manage projects from planning through delivery, collaborating with project members, multi-practice teams, subconsultants and other stakeholders to make sure deliverables, requirements, schedules, costs and meeting plans are communicated. Assist in development and management of project scopes, budgets, and schedules. Support preparation of scopes of work and budgets. Support in preparation of proposals and RFQs. Conduct studies, prepare reports, and read/develop construction plans and specifications. Manage and work collaboratively with multi-discipline teams and subconsultants. Coordinate project deliverables, manage project budgets and schedule, and identify resolution of issues. Manage quality assurance and control analysis to ensure projects meet or exceed client expectations, Halff requirements, and comply with recognized standards and codes of practice. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and identify opportunities to optimize project efficiency and profitability. Apply technical expertise appropriately by understanding project specific standards, criteria, deliverables and best practices. Support construction administration of projects and lead or assist permitting efforts. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers, EITs, and technical staff, fostering a culture of trust and collaboration within project team. Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or ABET accredited equivalent engineering degree (preferably in civil or environmental engineering). At least 1 year of Project Management experience (or 5+ years of engineering experience) in water & wastewater pipeline and/or facility design. Professional Engineer License (PE) in the State of Texas. Water & wastewater treatment, pump/lift stations and water storage experience desirable, but not required. Must be proficient with conducting studies, preparing reports, and reading/developing construction plans and specifications. Previous experience in coordinating project deliverables, managing project budgets and schedule, and identifying resolution of issues.
