Physician - Pulmonary Critical Care

Our client in California is seeking an experienced Physician specializing in Pulmonary Critical Care for an ongoing 60-day assignment, beginning as soon as possible. This full-time role requires a commitment of 2-4 weeks per month, with a flexible Monday-Friday schedule of either 7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Responsibilities encompass comprehensive ICU coverage, inpatient consultations, performing critical procedures, and managing an outpatient clinic, alongside mandatory weeknight and weekend call duties. Practice Info Setting: Inpatient Patient Volume: 8-14 patients per day Staffing Mix: Full support staff in ICU/inpatient unit (Hospitalists, Cardiologists, Gen Surg, GI, etc) and in clinic EMR System: Tenzing EMR Responsibilities Provide critical care and pulmonology services, including ICU coverage and inpatient consultation Perform critical care and ICU procedures Manage an outpatient clinic Provide weeknight and weekend call for the ICU Conduct morning ICU rounds and consultations Handle some outpatient clinic duties during weekday afternoons Compensation Strong compensation Benefits Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Shift & Schedule Ongoing 60-day assignment Full-time role requires a commitment of 2-4 weeks per month Flexible Monday-Friday schedule of either 7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Call Schedule: Out of house call; includes weeknight and weekend coverage LOA: 60 Days Qualifications Required Board Certifications: Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Disease Other Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
