Marketing Intern

Marketing Intern — Part-Time (15 Hours/Week)

The Marketing Intern will support the development and execution of the organization's marketing strategy. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who wants hands-on experience in marketing, content creation, social media, customer outreach, and campaign planning.

Responsibilities

• Help create and execute an overall marketing plan aligned with organizational goals.
• Research target audiences, competitors, market trends, and potential marketing opportunities.
• Assist with developing and implementing marketing campaigns and promotions.
• Create and schedule social media content across relevant platforms.
• Assist with email marketing, newsletters, and customer communications.
• Develop marketing materials, including flyers, digital content, presentations, and promotional materials.
• Monitor marketing activities and track basic performance metrics.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across marketing channels.
• Help identify opportunities to increase brand awareness, engagement, and customer reach.
• Collaborate with team members on marketing projects and special initiatives.
• Provide regular updates on marketing activities, results, and recommendations for improvement.

Work Experience

• Previous marketing, communications, social media, sales, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
• Internship, volunteer, school, freelance, or personal project experience involving marketing or social media may be considered.
• Experience creating content or managing social media accounts is a plus.

Education

• Currently pursuing or recently completed an associate's or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Students with relevant coursework, projects, or demonstrated marketing skills are encouraged to apply.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinking and an interest in developing new marketing ideas.
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Basic research and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Ability to commit to approximately 15 hours per week.
