Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position in Sonora, California for a travel temporary assignment. Start date: October 5, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide general nursing care under the supervision of an RN or MD according to established policy.
- Participate in planning and provision of patient care; contribute to the interdisciplinary care plan and discharge planning; support patient and family education.
- Administer medications and perform routine clinical procedures (e.g., phlebotomy, injections, drug screens) following aseptic technique.
- Monitor and restock supplies; maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned areas; assist with infection control practices.
- Document patient care in the electronic medical record; report changes in patient condition to the supervising clinician; participate in on-call duties as needed.
- On this assignment, schedule requires day shifts with weekend work and three weekdays, with on-call duties assigned based on operational needs. EPIC EMR experience and hospice care experience are required.

Requirements
- Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in California (state of practice) required.
- Minimum two years of recent nursing experience in the field.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification required; Arrhythmia certification preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
- EPIC EMR experience required; recent hospice care experience required; ability to work weekends and three weekdays on day shift.
