Director, Operations

We are seeking a Director of Operations to lead the Production and Mechanical Engineering teams at ProMach. Responsibilities Manage the Production group to ensure safety, quality, and efficient operations. Manage the Mechanical Engineering group for all administrative and project‑related activities. Provide leadership that garners respect from the engineering team and cross‑functional peers. Lead the engineering role in the quoting and conceptualization process to support the sales team. Drive excellent documentation practices throughout the organization. Provide periodic reporting of project status to cross‑functional teams and upper management. Oversee the concept and detailed design efforts from customer specifications, delivering products on time and within budget. Interface with customers during visits and FATs, projecting a professional and positive image for the company. Create a culture of product pride and maintain cleanliness and presentation of the facilities. Manage group resources, including hiring, termination, and performance reviews. Create and manage a budget for the Production and Engineering groups. Qualifications BSME, BSEE or a similar engineering degree. 15+ years of overall experience in operations and/or engineering roles with increasing responsibility. 5+ years of project or management responsibility. Solid knowledge of equipment used in manufacturing, including general automation controls and mechanical design. Strong ambassador for the company, projecting a professional image when interfacing with customers and suppliers. Understanding of structured design processes. Excellent decision‑making skills balancing time, cost, and quality. Solid understanding of the validation process required for equipment. Good interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to work with little supervision. Ability to display positive leadership traits that unite teams. Compensation and Benefits Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000. Total compensation includes pay, potential short‑term incentive opportunities, comprehensive medical/dental/vision programs, life insurance, disability insurance, paid time off, a retirement savings plan with company match, and a wellness program.
