**Join Our Dynamic Operating Room Team!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse - Operating Room - **Travel Experience Required:** Yes - **Specialty:** Operating Room - **Shift:** Day 4x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15) - **Years of Experience:** 2 years preferred - **Patient Ratio Experience:** 1:1 - **Charting System:** Preferred - Epic **Certifications:** - BLS required **Skills:** - Gynecology - Abdominal/Vaginal hysterectomy - Anterior/Posterior Repair (Colporrhaphy) - Bilateral tubal ligation - Dilation & Curettage - Laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures - Scrub Gynecology Surgery - Therapeutic Abortion (preferred) - Plastics - Abdominoplasty - Breast augmentation - Fat Grafting - Free Flap - Microvascular - Mastectomy with tram flap reconstruction - Scrub Plastics Surgery (preferred) **Professional Knowledge and Skills:** - Administration of blood & blood products - Cardiac Monitoring - Conscious Sedation monitoring - Infection control - Laser Safety - Radiation Safety - Specimen Handling/labeling - Starting Peripheral IV’s (preferred) - Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure - Urinary bladder catheterization - Wound Management (preferred) **Work Settings:** - Ambulatory OR - General OR - Trauma **Main Responsibilities:** - Scrub various specialties including: - Orthopedic surgeries - General surgeries - Urology surgeries - Oral surgeries - ENT surgeries - Robotic surgeries **Scheduling:** - Call required: Approx 3 weeknight call shifts and 2-3 weekend call shifts - Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 request - Orientation Hours: 24 - **Patient Age Groups:** Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics - **Daily Census:** 35 - **Number of Rooms:** 7 **Interdisciplinary Support:** - Physical Therapy - Respiratory Services - Interpretation Services - Phlebotomy - Radiology - Social Services - Rapid Response Teams - Pharmacy **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
