Senior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant for a growing global organization located in the Triad area of North Carolina. This Senior Accountant opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals with 5+ years of experience who thrive in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in month-end close, financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives while partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization. Our client offers a HYBRID work schedule. Key Responsibilities Lead key aspects of the month-end and year-end close process Prepare financial reports, analyses, and account reconciliations to support business operations Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and corporate policies Support audits, regulatory filings, and various financial reporting requirements Partner across departments to improve financial processes and reporting efficiencies Support tax compliance, regulatory reporting, and audit-related activities Participate in strategic projects and initiatives that drive continuous improvement across the organization Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience Manufacturing accounting experience preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management abilities medical dental vision term life and AD&D insurance short-term and long-term disability additional voluntary benefits commuter benefits wellness plans and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan.
