The role requires working night shifts three times a week. The therapist will handle a patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics. A minimum of two years of experience in respiratory therapy is required. The therapist must possess a valid license as either a CRT or RRT. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory. The role will involve basic and advanced respiratory procedures, including intubation, extubation, and the management of ventilators. The therapist will need to demonstrate proficiency with various equipment, including BiPAP, CPAP, and ventilators. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for patient care. The role may entail floating within the specialty as needed. No on-call duty is required for this position. Candidates must be willing to work every other weekend and be available for holiday shifts.
