But some managers also lead Departments. These managers’ responsibilities may include managing assigned Systems, like Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks to their teams, following up, and reporting results back to their team and other managers. Guest Service Department Manager Responsibilities Ensure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience. Ensure sales promotions are implemented effectively. Ensure all service staff are trained in service procedures. Organize the Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas for optimal service. Kitchen Department Manager Responsibilities Deliver great quality and fast food to customers. Always maintain food safety standards. Control food cost. Train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items. People Department Manager Responsibilities Hire qualified crew. Train crew effectively. Schedule crew to meet restaurant sales and profit goals. Support crew onboarding and ongoing recognition and motivation.
