As a Field Services Specialist, you will manage resources & logistics, perform services and maintenance activities at customer sites. These activities include maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing Bently Nevada hardware and software as part of the Cordant Solutions package. 

As a  Field Services Specialist , you will be responsible for: 

• Perform testing and validation of equipment, facilities, or plants to ensure compliance with design objectives and operational specifications. 

• Install and configure Bently Nevada hardware and software for machine protection and monitoring. 

• Respond to emergency repair requests and troubleshoot problematic equipment. 

• Provide technical instruction and assistance to customers on installation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance. 

• Prepare technical reports, job status updates, material orders, quotations, and time/expense sheets. 

• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly through reports and verbal communication. 

• Maintain calibration of specialized tools and adhere to standardized project processes and guidelines.

To be successful in this role, you will require: 

• Have High School Diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in instrumentation and/or process control (preferably in an industrial environment), OR h ave bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electronics, Chemical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or Electrical) from an accredited college or university, OR h ave Equivalent experience in instrumentation and/or process control. 

• Have Strong troubleshooting skills in electronics or mechanical systems; knowledge of hardware, PLCs, Modbus, OPC, networking, and serial communication protocols. 

• Have Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows OS. 

• Have Ability to travel 65–80% of the time, including weekends as required; valid passport and driver’s license required. 

• Have Eligibility for a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) or obtain to get one.

• Expect up to 65–80% travel, with paid travel time, overtime for work exceeding 8 hours/day, and covered travel costs.
