Senior CPQ Consultant

Job Overview: SoftClouds LLC is seeking an Oracle CPQ Senior Developer passionate about delivering excellence, making a

difference building scalable Configure, Price, Quote solutions that improve sales quoting and order processes. You will be

responsible for managing and delivering CPQ solutions for our client engagements. The role requires deep experience

with Oracle CPQ Cloud, including configuration, commerce flows, pricing, approvals, and integrations with CRM and ERP

systems. You will need strong communication skills and process knowledge to drive the solutions that align with the

client's business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Oracle CPQ configurations, product models, pricing rules, approvals, and quote workflows.

• Develop and maintain BML scripts, attribute structures, and custom logic for complex quoting scenarios.

• Build and support integrations between CPQ and systems such as Salesforce, ERP, and other enterprise platforms.

• Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain performance and stability of CPQ solutions.

• Participate in testing, deployment, release management, and production support.

• Provide support in building the Statement of Work for the new client deals.

• Design and implement Oracle CPQ configurations, product models, pricing rules, approvals, and quote workflows.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Over 10 years of overall software development experience, including 5+ years of hands-on Oracle CPQ

development and implementation experience

• Strong knowledge of Oracle CPQ Cloud, including configurator, commerce, pricing, and document generation.

• Hands-on experience with BML, JavaScript, XML/XSL, SQL, and related technologies.

• Experience integrating CPQ with Salesforce, ERP, middleware, or APIs.

• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills.

• Ability to work with business stakeholders and lead technical discussions.

• Experience with complex pricing models, discounts, bundles, subscriptions, and approvals.

• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or high-complexity sales environments.

• Familiarity with release management, CI/CD, and large enterprise system landscapes.

• Leadership or mentoring experience in a senior technical role

• Solid understanding of Oracle CPQ and CRM data models, architecture, constraints, governor limits and change

management.

• Strong exposure to Oracle CPQ architecture and implementation best practices.

• Planning and executing data conversion activities (e.g., test data)

• Testing functional designs for business solution components and prototypes

• Ability to work with multiple projects and work streams at one time.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple business leaders to complete projects quickly

• Maintains/enhances technology expertise, keeping current with evolving systems analysis, programming and

database technologies.

• Should have good knowledge/experience of Agile Project Methodology

Education:

• Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, computer science or related fields
