About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Napa, California, 94558!

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting, delivering high-acuity nursing services across night shift hours
• Float between sister facilities nearby the contracted location as needed to support staffing requirements
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Complete all required orientation modules prior to and during the start of assignment; module time is non-billable and factored into overall hours
• Submit all time-off requests and scheduling preferences upfront at the time of submittal, as post-offer requests may not be accommodated

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required
• Must provide 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years (charge RNs or leads are acceptable)
• Background must be clear of Nursys or background check hits, per facility policy
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at an adjusted rate

• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care environment
• Familiarity with high-acuity patient populations and multi-system critical care protocols
• Experience working within large health system environments

• Expected schedule of 36 hours per week with a consistent night shift structure in a well-established acute care facility
• Opportunity to gain experience within a recognized regional health system with potential to return after a 3-month period following contract completion
