The Opportunity

We are a professional staffing firm partnering with organizations nationwide to connect exceptional professionals with career opportunities.

One of our clients, a well-established South Florida personal injury law firm , is confidentially seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Paralegal to join its Palm Beach Gardens team.

This opportunity is specifically for a paralegal with 3+ years of direct Medical Malpractice and/or Nursing Home Abuse experience supporting pre-litigation or litigation matters.

If you understand the complexity of medical records, discovery, expert coordination, litigation deadlines, and preparing cases from pre-suit through trial, we want to hear from you.

Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.

What You'll Do

You will work closely with attorneys throughout the lifecycle of medical malpractice and related cases, including:

• Support cases from pre-suit through litigation and trial.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and other legal documents.
• Obtain, organize, review, and summarize medical and billing records.
• Prepare medical chronologies, case summaries, and timelines.
• Coordinate discovery requests and responses.
• Assist with identifying and coordinating medical and other expert witnesses.
• Communicate with clients, providers, experts, opposing counsel, and vendors.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and other case events.
• Track court, discovery, expert, and case deadlines.
• Prepare exhibits, case files, and materials for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Maintain accurate and organized electronic case files.
• Proactively follow up on outstanding records, discovery, and other time-sensitive matters.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of Medical Malpractice or Nursing Home Abuse experience is required. This search is focused on candidates with direct experience handling these types of cases rather than general personal injury experience alone.

Strong candidates will also bring:

• Experience supporting attorneys through pre-litigation and/or litigation.
• Strong knowledge of medical records, discovery, and litigation procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and deadline management.
• Proficiency with legal technology and case management systems.
• Aderant Total Office experience is a plus.
• Fluent English/Spanish is highly preferred.
