Litigation Paralegal - Personal Injury

Paralegal PositionOur client is looking for a highly qualified Paralegal to join their personal injury law firm!You will be highly organized, detail oriented, and have strong communication skills.Responsibilities:Communicate with clientsConduct legal researchGather and organize relevant medical records and chronologiesInterview clientsMaintain professional interaction with clients, doctors, attorneys, etc.Meet/beat deadlines and maintain calendars, including scheduling depositions, hearings, mediation, etc.Prepare for trialDraft and file legal documents, including complaints, discovery, motions, and subpoenas; often NOT electronic filingTrain and manage Legal AssistantsAdditional duties as assignedPreferred Qualities:3+ years of Personal Injury experienceMust be able to follow instructions, be motivated and have initiative, must be able to record and follow up on requested information.Excellent math skills for accurate closing statementsRespect for confidentialityHighly empatheticStrong computer skills, including, but not limited to, use of Aderant (ATO), MS Excel, MS Word and MS OutlookGather relevant documents for attorney's use in upcoming depositions, meetings, telephone conferences, trials, etc.Familiar with medical records and chronologiesOutstanding time management skills, typing skills and ability to multi-task.High energy, initiative and integrityDetail orientedMust be professional and cooperative with coworkersMust be organized with a strong attention to detailVeterans encouraged to apply!Software:Familiar with Case management software & client profilesProficient in Microsoft OfficeEducation:Equivalent combination of education and experience is a plusPay:Dependent on experienceExcellent benefits
