Location 199 PARK 35 COVE N,Buda, TX, 78610,United States Employee Type FT Hourly Non-Exempt Warehouse Associate Job Description Position Title Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator Position Summary The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, moving, picking, staging, and shipping materials while maintaining accurate inventory and a safe, organized warehouse. This position regularly operates forklifts and other material handling equipment to support production and customer deliveries. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficiently. Operate sit-down, stand-up, and/or reach forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Pick, stage, wrap, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Scan all inventory transactions accurately using the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Perform inventory transfers, cycle counts, and assist with physical inventories. Store materials in designated warehouse locations while maintaining proper stock rotation. Supply raw materials and finished goods to production as required. Inspect forklifts and material handling equipment daily and report any maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using 5S and good housekeeping practices. Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirements. Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or process issues to the supervisor. Assist with warehouse organization, labeling, and continuous improvement initiatives. Work overtime and weekends as required to meet business needs. Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience preferred. Forklift certification or the ability to become certified. Experience using RF scanners or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred. Basic math and computer skills. Ability to read and understand shipping documents and inventory records. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Physical Requirements Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds . Stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and reach throughout the workday. Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks. Work in warehouse and manufacturing environments with varying temperatures. Warehouse and manufacturing facility. Exposure to forklifts, dust. Required use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
