Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking a motivated Preconstruction Manager with 8 years of estimating experience, concentrating on mechanical construction projects. The Preconstruction Manager’s primary role is to manage, in collaboration with the Project Executive, the successful completion of assigned preconstruction projects. The position leads project financials, risk management, and client relations, and requires a passion for getting the job done while confidently representing the firm and committing to schedule and cost parameters. What You’ll Do Act as a key leader throughout the acquisition process, managing, coordinating, and delivering preconstruction phases and maintaining extensive client contact. Produce progress estimates at design milestones, evaluate material and system costs, review document progress and coordination, and build and maintain subcontractor and vendor relationships. Perform detailed take‑offs and estimating, define bid package scopes, and oversee the subcontractor/supplier bidding process. What You Bring To The Table Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, or related field 8 years of estimating experience with a concentration in mechanical construction projects Knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions, and trade practices Conceptual ability to work with minimum information and quickly develop an understanding of client and architect requirements Demonstrated imaginative, innovative, and succinct approach to a project Excellent oral and written skills required Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite Strong attention to detail and organization; diplomatic with discretion in handling confidential information Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment Some travel may be required depending on business needs What We Offer Salary Range: $135,000 – $170,000 and an annual discretionary bonus Free medical, dental, and vision insurance for the employee; 75% cost sharing for family coverage including a domestic partner Tuition reimbursement, 401(k) matching 20 days of PTO/year, flexible hybrid remote working arrangements, and the latest technology and tools to excel Opportunity to make an impact on a diverse team with decades of professional experience Email your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io or apply online at for immediate consideration.
