Broiler/Grill Cook

Grill Cook at C. Ellet\'s Steakhouse We are looking for a Grill Cook to join the culinary brigade at our steakhouse. Our Grill Cooks make $20-23 per hour based on experience. At C. Ellet’s is a convivial place for all to gather and celebrate. What is the Job? As a grill cook, you will be the lead steak cook during service, ensuring proper food temperature with every chop. You will manage ticket orders for proteins and will be responsible for ensuring food quality and timeliness, constantly communicating ticket times and inventory with your Chefs. You will assist in setting up and maintaining stations, preparing food, and working in tandem with the rest of the culinary team. Open availability to AM and PM shifts is essential. What are the responsibilities? Maintain the temperature of the grill/broiler throughout your shift Manage ticket orders for proteins, ensuring food temperatures meet restaurant & guest expectations Maintain a working knowledge of all recipes, steak temperatures, and production times Preparing food for service Set up and maintain a clean, organized station according to brand standards Compliance with sanitation regulations and safety standards Work as a team player, helping your fellow team with guest interactions and bar duties to contribute to a positive working environment Able to prioritize multiple tasks and openly communicate with your manager and fellow service team about next steps Consistent adherence to the uniform policy Reports for duty on time and manages one’s shift, communicating with the management team when leaving their station for breaks or family meal Our ideal Grill Cook The Grill Cook should be able to guide and train other cooks to work the grill, acting as an ally to their Sous Chefs and Executive Chef Has a passion for food with a willingness to continue education Has a kind, friendly, and welcoming attitude with a desire to serve others and provide memorable hospitality Works constructively with their teammates, celebrating one another and lending a helping hand Possesses excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask, manage time and prioritize Demonstrates our core values of integrity, passion, respect, and curiosity What are the requirements?
