As a Security Guard Train Unarmed in Denver, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist passengers, visitors, and staff with professionalism. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at transit facilities.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and interactions accurately in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
