Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's medical facility-based in Vestavia Hills AL 35216. This is a 3+ month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Name: Phlebotomy - Phlebotomist II

Location: Vestavia Hills AL 35216

Duration: 3 months + Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Shift: Monday- Friday between 8:00 Am – 5:00 pm

Pay rate: $19.93 – 21.26/hr. on w2/Pay rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups
• Performs specimen processing and EKG in a safe, accurate, and professional manner
• Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Pediatrics Phlebotomy experienced preferred
• Minimum of 2-3 Years of phlebotomy experience required
