As a Registered Nurse within the Behavioral Health Emergency Screening Department at RWJ University Hospital New Brunswick, you will help advance patient care and strengthen the experience of individuals and families across our organization. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is strongly preferred or must be completed within 5 years upon hire. ACLS certification is preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of employment. Prior RN experience within Emergency Department or Behavioral Health or Psychiatric specialty is highly preferred and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. This position offers a Per Diem Day Shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m with weekend and holiday rotation, 2 shifts per month, allowing you to build strong patient relationships while maintaining balance.
