Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health Emergency Screening - Per Diem Night Location: RWJ Somerset, NJ 08876 Department: Emergency Screening Facility: RWJ Somerset Shift: Night (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) Pay Range: $46.90 – $63.44 per hour (anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired in New Jersey). Compensation offered may vary based on educational background, skills, and professional experience. Job Overview The Registered Nurse is expected to ensure the delivery of safe and quality patient care. Perform, adapt, and safely demonstrate procedures required by patients according to policies and procedures. Administer medications accurately and safely. Document according to policies and procedures, demonstrating technical skills specific to the nursing unit. Required Qualifications 1-year related RN experience with Behavioral Health, Mental Health, or Emergency Department crisis screening. Active, valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license. ASN or Nursing diploma required. Candidates with ASN or Nursing diploma must agree to complete BSN within five years of hire date. BLS required through the American Heart Association. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Ability to communicate and collaborate with others effectively. Competent in use of all Microsoft Office applications. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Certifications and Licenses Required

AHA BLS.

Current New Jersey RN license. Scheduling Requirement Per Diem Night: 7 p.m. – 7:30 a.m., 3 shifts per 4 weeks (1 weekend Saturday/Sunday required).
