Regional Sales Director, Immunology - Southeast Region

Merck seeks an experienced Regional Sales Director to lead the Southeast immunology sales organization. This second-line leadership role oversees District Managers and field representatives, managing regional P&L, customer relationships, team development, and strategic execution across multiple states.
Responsibilities
- Lead, recruit, develop, and retain regional team executing customer engagement strategies
- Own customer portfolio and experience, ensuring accurate communications across all touchpoints
- Build relationships with senior healthcare leaders and industry thought leaders
- Align account plans with payer and managed-care strategies to optimize access
- Deliver regional business results and meet defined P&L targets for assigned region
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years pharmaceutical sales, marketing, or managed care experience
- Minimum 3 years people management experience leading teams
- At least 3 years building and managing customer relationships
- Regional residency with ability to travel up to 50% including overnight trips
- Strong knowledge of healthcare dynamics, provider organizations, IDNs, and reimbursement
- Track record developing high-performing teams with strategic agility and business acumen
- Valid driver's license
