CNA - Student (Casual) - Long Term Care

Job Description Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to serve at Grace Home, Essentia Health's long-term care facility in Graceville, Minnesota. This CNA works on a casual basis, picking up shifts as needed to support staffing needs at this location. Some weekends and holidays are required. Education & Qualifications No educational requirements. Must be certified as a nursing assistant, or be currently enrolled in a CNA course with ability to be certified within 4 months. Responsibilities Provide direct care to skilled nursing facility residents and meet their needs for safety and comfort. Assist with personal hygiene and nutritional care. Recognize and report changes in resident condition to shift nurse promptly. Maintain a safe, clean, and attractive environment for residents. Identify safety hazards and emergency situations and initiate corrective actions. Avoid abuse of vulnerable adults and maintain awareness of safety issues. Shift & Location Location: Grace Home Nursing Home, Graceville, Minnesota. Shift rotation: rotating shift. Shift start/end: varies/varies (PRN). Hours: PRN (casual basis). Compensation: $15.00 per hour. Weekends: yes.
