Step into a vital role supporting students as a school psychologist within a dynamic educational setting near Scranton, PA. Two full-time contract positions are available—one focused on the elementary level, the other serving secondary students in grades 5-12. Engage directly with students, faculty, and families to provide essential psychological evaluations and assessments, with positions scheduled from August 26, 2026, through June 7, 2027. Key Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility in Pennsylvania
• Prior experience in K-12 schools highly desirable
• Strong background in conducting educational and psychological evaluations and assessments
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Ability to manage sensitive student data and ensure confidentiality
• Skilled in working with elementary or adolescent populations, depending on position
• Commitment to in-person service; virtual options are not available due to supervision requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students as assigned
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized plans and interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to support student academic and behavioral needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to help develop strategies for student success
• Provide crisis intervention and consultation services as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district guidelines
