Medical Specialist II TN, AL, & Pensacola to Tallahassee, FL

Regeneron seeks a Medical Specialist for its ophthalmology retina team covering Tennessee, Alabama, and Florida. The field-based role involves building relationships with retina specialists, executing territory business plans, and educating healthcare providers on innovative retinal therapies to drive patient access and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and grow strategic relationships with retina specialists and ophthalmology practices throughout territory
- Execute territory business plans to achieve sales objectives and support ophthalmology portfolio growth
- Educate healthcare providers on clinical data, product benefits, patient identification, and treatment pathways
- Collaborate cross-functionally to address customer needs and support practice success
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and reimbursement developments to inform business planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years specialty pharmaceutical or biotechnology sales experience
- Demonstrated high sales performance with consistent achievement of territory goals
- Experience selling biologics and buy-and-bill products in specialty healthcare
- Strong knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, formulary processes, and contract negotiations
- Ophthalmology sales experience preferred; retina-focused experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with physicians and key stakeholders
- Residence within or near assigned Tennessee, Alabama, Pensacola to Tallahassee territory required
