As an Associate Marketing Manager, you'll play a hands-on role in helping these brands grow, connecting consumer insights to strategy, and bringing ideas to life in the marketplace. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience across every aspect of brand marketing, including strategy, innovation, integrated campaigns, consumer insights, forecasting, and execution. One day you may be analyzing market and cultural trends and helping shape annual brand plans. The next, you could be supporting national marketing programs, developing sales tools, collaborating with agency and cross-functional partners, or helping launch the next big idea. The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location. We also provide a 401(k) plan where TFE may make a discretionary profit-sharing contribution. - Support the development of annual brand plans, go-to-market strategies, and frameworks and partnerships that drive growth across distribution tiers.
- Support the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, public relations, experiential, ecommerce, retail media, and in-store channels.
- Help bring seasonal, always-on, and tentpole brand moments to life in alignment with brand strategy and creative direction.
- Develop strategic and creative presentations, sell-in materials, and tools for sales teams, distributor networks, customers, and other key gatekeepers.
- Help ensure marketing materials consistently reflect each brand's voice, personality, creative direction, and visual identity; conduct ongoing channel audits and support asset management.
- Audit and coordinate updated content for digital marketing platforms, including brand websites and social media channels.
- Continuously research the alcohol beverage industry, CPG, culture, and industries outside beverage alcohol to identify new strategies, consumer behaviors, and growth opportunities.
- Support go-to-market plans for new product launches, including positioning and messaging, asset development, sell-in materials, forecasts, and activation plans.
- Support the innovation pipeline by researching consumer insights, cultural trends, competitive activity, and emerging category dynamics.
- Pull, analyze, and synthesize consumer, category, customer, and competitive data from platforms such as Circana/IRI, Nielsen, and Power BI to inform decision-making.
- Continuously monitor brand health indicators and program performance to assess progress against strategic objectives and identify opportunities.
- Support business planning, forecasting, budget management, and the development of clear, actionable recommendations.
- Support the development and execution of brand campaigns, partnerships, collaborations, events, ecommerce programs, and retail media activations.
- Work closely with external agency partners, including creative, social, public relations, and experiential agencies, to manage timelines, deliverables, budgets, and feedback.
- Coordinate asset development, legal and regulatory reviews, and internal alignment across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders.
- Track campaign performance and compile clear recaps, learnings, and recommendations to improve future effectiveness.
- Manage multiple projects from concept through execution, maintaining strong organization, attention to detail, and accountability against deadlines.
- Bring a growth mindset and contribute to a collaborative, solutions-oriented team environment.
- Build strong relationships across the organization and support the team during key business periods, events, and priorities.
- Turning data into direction. Your insights and analysis will help identify opportunities, support business planning, and influence decisions that shape the future of our brands.
- Bring brands to life. You'll help transform strategy into marketing programs that reach consumers across the country and drive measurable results.
- Connect Marketing and Sales. Working closely with our sales organization, you'll help ensure programs are built with both consumers and customers in mind.
- Contribute to What's Next. Whether supporting the continued leadership of Sutter Home or helping accelerate growth for SEAGLASS, you'll play an important role in shaping the next chapter of our brands.
- Work on nationally recognized and growing brands, including Sutter Home and SEAGLASS, among others.

- Bachelor's degree required; Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- One to two years of relevant brand marketing experience within the alcohol beverage industry, CPG, or another industry requiring similar brand-building, analytical, and project-management capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across functions and levels of the organization.
- Strong presentation-building and storytelling skills, including the ability to create clear, compelling, and visually engaging presentations using PowerPoint, Canva, and related tools.
- Strong presentation delivery skills, including the ability to present to management and cross-functional stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
- Strong analytical mindset and sound business judgment, with the ability to translate data and long-term brand vision into actionable recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, exercise initiative, and prioritize independently with limited direction.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and project-management skills.
- Collaborative team player with a growth mindset and willingness to support the business during key priorities, including occasional evening and weekend events.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Brand marketing experience within the wine industry is preferred; experience in spirits, beer, ready-to-drink beverages, or broader beverage alcohol is also valued.
- Experience using Circana/IRI, Nielsen, Power BI, or related market and business intelligence tools.
- Experience supporting integrated campaigns, innovation launches, agency relationships, or customer and distributor-facing marketing programs.
- Hybrid schedule: in office Monday through Thursday in Napa, CA with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
- Primarily an office environment with extensive computer work.
- Typically, a standard work week with frequent deadline pressures and multiple projects in progress at any given time.
- Opportunities to collaborate with teams across the organization and occasionally work from or visit other TFE locations as business needs require.
- Occasional evening and weekend participation in events, activations, trade functions, or key business initiatives.
