Players Club Shift Supervisor

:

JOB PURPOSE: To assist the player's club assistant managers in managing all aspects of the players club.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Supervisory duties: Acts as back-up supervisor for employees. Assists with coordinating work assignments and schedules.
• May assist with initiating disciplinary action. May assist with conducting interviews and hiring new employees.
• Assists with conducting performance appraisals and employee training
• Assists with all promotional activities for casino and Sports Bar.
• Conducts inventory of promotional items and prepared monthly reports for supervisor.
• Assists with slot tournaments, and other special events or drawings.
• Resolves customer complaints.
• Assists with preparing Buffalo Thunder and Cities of Gold Casino reports by organizing and totaling information.
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES):

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• Good knowledge of customer relations practices.
• Good knowledge of departmental policies and procedures.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate promotions activities.
• Ability to handle a variety of customer requests and personalities. Must be people oriented.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Skill in using computer and programs (Bailly's CMP, MGT programs)
• Basic math skills.
• Knowledge of inventory procedures

REQUIRED EDUCATION OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED
• (1) to (2) years specialized casino experience in promotions/marketing operations
• Plus (1) year administrative/business experience
• Computer experience required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Standing-70% /Walking-10% /Sitting-20%; Casino/Office setting.
• Exposure to cigarette smoke and noise.
• Some light lifting and carrying required up to 25 pound individual lifts.
• On 24-hour emergency call.
• Minimal travel required.
• Shift work required.
• Required to work weekends, holidays, and overtime.
