What’s a typical day as Purchasing Specialist? You’ll be:

• Resolving issues with non-conforming material, unclear specifications, or vendor capacity constraints in partnership with cross-functional teams
• Following established procurement strategies to meet quality requirements and optimize cost, inventory, delivery, and services
• Planning material requirements and placing purchase orders to support production schedules and new product launches
• Negotiating prices and delivery terms with suppliers
• Managing purchase orders through ERP and vendor portals, and analyzing current EW and VMI inventory levels
• Building and maintaining stable working relationships internally, managing confidential information, and adhering to company policies

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a minimum of 5 years of related experience in procurement or purchasing
• Possess basic SAP knowledge and strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Are bilingual in Spanish and English
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, leadership, and project management abilities
• Can manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• (Preferred) Have a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a related field
