Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Pulse Wave, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse spectrum of clients, including those dealing with substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Understanding the nuances of each client's background will be crucial in providing culturally competent care. Qualifications\n

• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. A master's degree is preferred to ensure a deeper understanding of complex mental health issues.

• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• A minimum of one year of direct experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating a capacity to provide effective counseling to various populations.

• Awareness of evidence-based mental health treatment modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed practices.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement is one year of clinical experience, candidates with two or more years in similar roles will be highly valued. Experience in providing group therapy and crisis intervention is also preferred. Familiarity with telehealth principles is advantageous, as this will be an essential aspect of the job.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000 to welcome new team members. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
