Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (12-hour nights; occasional day shift may be required) | Onsite | 72 guaranteed hours biweekly | Scheduling done in 6-week periods; every 3rd weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Level 2 Maternity unit, including Labor & Delivery, postpartum/mother-baby, and pediatric populations
• Care for maternal-child and newborn patients; occasional age-appropriate med-surg patients (females under 65)
• Operate unit-specific equipment including fetal monitoring systems, IV pumps, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and glucometers
• Perform unit-specific protocols including IV management, RN bedside ultrasound for presentation, epidural catheter removal post-delivery, and phlebotomy
• Circulate in the on-unit OR for cesarean sections; scrub capability is a plus but not required
• Participate in on-call assignments based on unit census and need

Required Qualifications

• Active NH RN license or compact state license required
• BLS certification through AHA required
• ACLS certification through AHA required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Prior experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and pediatrics required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification highly preferred
• Experience with Omnicell medication dispensing systems
• Scrub experience in an OR setting is a bonus
