Job Description & Requirements Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2268 $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS Responsibilities 12‑hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM 36 guaranteed hours per week 13‑week contract Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed No on‑call or callback requirements Unit may have low census in 4‑hour increments; travelers may be asked to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift Work with an 8‑bed Neuro unit caring for stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery patients Perform Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation Neuro‑specific procedures include bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience required with Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong Neuro assessment skills 1 travel assignment preferred EPIC charting experience required Associate Degree or Certificate required Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NIHSS Scrub color: Any color Candidates must reside outside a 50‑mile radius of facility Benefits Weekly pay via direct deposit and accessible payroll support 401k with 100% matching Monthly reimbursement for health insurance Maximum non‑tax stipends available including lodging, meals and incidentals 24/7 On‑call support Medical benefits Dental benefits Vision benefits Referral bonus Alliance Services, Inc.
