Sample Prep Associate

IQVIA Laboratories seeks a Sample Prep Associate to perform laboratory sample preparation workflows, reagent preparation, and equipment maintenance while ensuring compliance with SOPs, GLP, and regulatory standards at their Ithaca facility.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine sample preparation techniques to support downstream analytical testing
• Prepare reagents and mobile phases with documentation in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines
• Record observations, perform calculations, and manage data collection for evaluation
• Support lab operations through equipment maintenance, glassware cleaning, and waste stream management
• Assist with inventory maintenance, sample storage organization, and LIMS workflow management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; some locations require associate degree in laboratory science
• Proficiency with pipetting techniques and basic laboratory principles
• Working knowledge of GLP fundamentals, laboratory safety, and hazardous chemical handling
• Strong attention to detail with ability to produce accurate, audit-ready documentation
• Effective collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams

Compensation: $35,900.00 - $74,800.00 base
