Enterprise Systems AdministratorFGS, LLC is seeking an experienced Enterprise Systems Administrator to support the Office of Naval Intelligence in Suitland, Maryland. We are seeking a highly capable senior-level systems administrator with multi-disciplinary expertise across SQL, virtualization, server infrastructure, software deployment, and enterprise operations. This position requires a seasoned technical professional capable of sustaining and improving mission-critical intelligence systems, enterprise applications, and secure computing environments.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux server environmentsManage virtual infrastructure including VMware, Hyper-V, and related platformsSupport and maintain Microsoft SQL Server and other database systems including backups, performance checks, and troubleshootingPerform server builds, upgrades, patching, hardening, and lifecycle refresh actionsDeploy software packages, updates, and enterprise applications across user and server environmentsMonitor system health, storage capacity, backups, and performance metricsTroubleshoot hardware, operating system, application, and connectivity issuesManage Active Directory, group policy, file shares, permissions, and identity servicesSupport disaster recovery, backup restoration, and continuity operationsMaintain documentation, configuration baselines, and change recordsProvide end-user escalation support and rapid response for critical outagesRecommend technical improvements to increase reliability, performance, and securityRequired Qualifications:U.S. CitizenshipDoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAM Level I CertificationMinimum 8 years of progressively responsible IT systems administration experienceStrong experience with:Windows Server administrationLinux systems administrationSQL Server / database administration supportVirtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V)Enterprise storage, backups, and server hardwareSoftware deployment and patch managementTroubleshooting complex enterprise environmentsSecure systems in classified or regulated environmentsEducation Requirements:Master's Degree Engineering or engineering discipline; Computer science or IT discipline; Technical discipline.Security Clearance Requirements:TS/SCIPhysical, Work Environment & Conditions:• Sitting: 70%, Standing: 30%, Walking: 10%, Reaching, Grasping: 10%• Lifting/Carrying: Up to 25lbs (10%), Pushing/Pulling: 5%• Speaking, Listening, and Visual tasks: 100%• Local and overseas travel: 20%• Exposure to external environmental conditions, noise, and physical hazards: up to 10%• No supervisory responsibilitiesCompany Overview:FGS LLC is an international, leading-edge provider of technical services to include Secure Information Systems, Security and Engineering and Intelligence Analysis.
