Take the next step in your career supporting high school students during the 26/27 school year in a dynamic educational environment near Tulsa, OK. This contract position offers full-time hours, with an opportunity to provide essential psychological services for an engaging high school age group. Flexibility is built in, as the role is open to a hybrid schedule arrangement.
Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist Certification in Oklahoma is required
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not a requirement
- Demonstrated strength in communication and interpersonal relations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with educational policies, assessment tools, and psychological evaluation practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for high school students
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and staff to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Support students with academic, emotional, and behavioral needs through targeted services
- Provide consultation and guidance to parents and school personnel
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to state and federal guidelines
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and 504 meetings as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team
