This full-time porter role focuses on keeping the facility clean, safe, and presentable throughout the day. You will clean common areas, restock supplies, respond to cleaning requests, and assist with light maintenance tasks as needed. • Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, restrooms, breakrooms, conference rooms, and other common areas to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the facility and ensure proper disposal.
• Restock restroom and kitchen supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper, to ensure continuous availability.
• Respond promptly to spills, urgent cleaning requests, and other facility needs during the shift.
• Keep entryways, glass doors, and walkways clean, clear, and free of debris to maintain a safe and welcoming appearance.
• Set up meeting rooms as needed and clean them after use, including tables, chairs, and floors.
• Report maintenance issues and perform minor tasks, such as changing or replacing light bulbs, when assigned.
• Perform a variety of janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing, spot cleaning, carpet cleaning, and window cleaning.
• Handle trash pickup, trash removal, and custodial tasks, including heavy lifting when required.
• Assist with assembling items and moving furniture as needed while following safe lifting practices.
• Use cleaning equipment and hand tools correctly and safely, including floor care machines for buffing and waxing.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE), and comply with chemical safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate awareness of supply inventory and communicate replenishment needs.
• Manage time effectively to complete assigned work orders and daily cleaning schedules.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and guests at all times.

• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or day porter roles preferred.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning equipment, supplies, and commercial cleaning and sanitization practices.
• Proficiency in floor care, including mopping, vacuuming, buffing, and waxing.
• Ability to perform trash removal, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, carpet cleaning, spot cleaning, and window cleaning.
• Capability to handle heavy lifting and move items safely, including lifting up to 50 lbs and assisting with moving furniture.
• Familiarity with chemical safety and personal protective equipment (PPE) safety compliance.
• Ability to use hand tools and perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Effective time management skills and proven dependability in completing assigned tasks.
• Good communication and customer service skills when interacting with employees and visitors.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, push, and pull throughout the shift.
• Comfort working both indoors and outdoors as needed.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Experience working with work orders and following structured cleaning schedules is beneficial.
• Prior experience in commercial cleaning and sanitization environments is an advantage.
• Familiarity with inventory awareness for cleaning supplies and materials is helpful.

This is a full-time position with a daytime schedule starting at 8:00 a.m. and including a 30-minute meal break. The role involves working both indoors and outdoors as needed, maintaining various facility areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, breakrooms, conference rooms, and entryways. You will use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies, including vacuums, mops, buffers, and floor care machines, as well as basic hand tools. The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs, including moving furniture and handling trash. Safety is a priority, and you will follow established procedures for chemical handling and PPE use while maintaining a clean, orderly, and professional appearance in the facility.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Midland, TX.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
